A lot is happening in 2025. Not only do we have a new Presidential administration, there is a mindset shift in people in the U.S.and around the world. I think politics has a lot to do with it but for the administration to change there had to be a mindset shift first. Before the election I was posting occasional memes and videos related to the election. I was mostly making fun of the left and using some humor to make light of serious situations. I got a lot of backlash behind the scenes even with my very small audience. In a lot of ways this was confirmation that I was on the right side of history.

I wasn’t one jumping in a lot of political conversations, but when I was asked my opinion, it was no doubt where I stood. I was saying Trump was the best president we’ve ever had since his first term, when it was probably the most unpopular thing for a Black man to say. After the new year people probably expected that I would be going in even harder but I just sat back and observed. I’m not normally even political but I felt like I had to say something for whatever amount of influence I have before the election. Once it was over I didn’t feel the need to say anything. I’ve just been enjoying watching what’s happening.

Major Events
Made up genders are no longer recognized. You can no longer say your gender is oogoo boogoo and expect people to be compelled to address you as such. You can’t be a man and beat up women in Women’s MMA just because you put a sports bra on. Sexual mis-education and child mutilation is out now. No more grooming kids and trying to brainwash them to accept perverse ideology and remove or alter their sex organs. This was my biggest issue because I see this as an attack on man and woman, my own children and humanity as a whole. As good as Trump is for the economy, the fact that he made a stand on this was a major factor in supporting him.

Illegal immigrants no longer get more privileges and benefits than citizens and can no longer expect a de facto diplomatic immunity if they commit crimes. This was an important issue but I do have some empathy for people who are seeking a better life and desperate enough to sneak in the country. However, if they were allowed to stay, if anything they should pay more taxes and be held to an even higher standard as far as their behavior until they become citizens. This is the same for legal immigrants. Until you are a citizen you are a guest. You should be on your best behavior and contribute to society.

DEI has been eliminated. I have mixed feelings about this. I’ve never benefited from DEI and I see the logic as to why it becomes negative, especially when you include sexual preference and self-identification based categories. I think a better solution, would be to require skills based testing for publicly traded companies so that there are defined metrics that candidates are judged on in order to ensure fairness and that employees are hired based on their abilities and performance only. Private companies should be able to hire whoever they wish.

Government corruption is being exposed on a scale larger than ever before in history. Hundreds of Billions of dollars in waste and corruption has been exposed and it’s not over. They’re now auditing and potentially abolishing the IRS. I heard yesterday that there is a plan to potentially give the American people 20% of the money saved or recovered. This is unprecedented on many levels. Politicians are in desperation mode trying to make citizens somehow believe exposing their corruption is bad for America. The majority are no longer falling for it and even the most dedicated Democrats are finding it hard to defend what has been uncovered and attack the administration putting an end to it.

The News media has been further exposed for their corruption and their tactics are having less effect. Speaking with an authoritative tone and repeating lies is not working as well as it once did. It used to be only the traditional media that was thought of as being controlled and on the payroll but now it’s been exposed that many influencers on all the major social media platforms who try to appear unbiased, are paid propagandists as well.

The administration is actively trying to end the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. The Ukraine war only happened because of the corruption of the Biden family, so we absolutely need to end that war and we as a nation have a lot of responsibility for the lives that have been lost there. As far as the war in Gaza, President Trump has come to a preliminary agreement with Israel to take over the Gaza strip. I think this is a mistake because it gives the U.S. a larger attack surface that is more easily accessible to our enemies and could be used to bring us into larger conflicts. There is also a strategic advantage of being able to have a military base there but we would make ourselves more easily reachable for the enemy where as it is now we can reach them much more easily than they can reach us. I think the President’s heart is in the right place but we would be better off having an unofficial supporting role.

The Culture
The country is divided, but along different lines. The lines are less about race and gender and more about ideology and values. The pendulum is swinging and common sense is winning. Some people have gone too far on the side of lunacy and feel like they can never go back. They’ve made too many extreme public statements and sacrificed their family’s physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. So the thought of conceding a single point is painful to them. At large I think people are becoming more objective.

Civil rights, which the original purpose was good, has been used as a launchpad to justify insanity. LGBTQRSTUV has tried to piggie back on civil rights and feminism, which ironically has decreased civil rights and largely been to the detriment of women. People are no longer going along with it to be polite. Black people in general and women across all races are starting to realize that they’re being used.

People are realizing that spirituality doesn’t stop where politics begins. The administration and laws in the country are a reflection of that country’s morals and values. Hypocrisy is being exposed and cognitive dissonance is breaking down. There is less “my truth” and “your truth” and more of the truth. Some things are good vs evil. The “no judgement” era is ending and the “righteous judgment” era is beginning.

The battle of the sexes seems to be toning down. Men and women seem more aware that we are not each other’s enemies and there is more talk about solutions and less delusion and pointing the finger. There is more constructive communication. Both men and women are distancing themselves from negative stereotypes and seeking new and better understanding related to themselves and each other.
